The American Revolution

This is a wiki designed to help the students with the American Revolution.

The Amercan Revolution was during the late 18th century, and it was when the Thirteen Colonies gained independence from the British Empire and became the United States of America. During this time, the colonies teamed up against the British Empire and formed the American Revolutionary War. This resulted in the Declaration of Independence because the colonies wanted to be free from British rule.

This is a youtube video from the TV series "John Adams." This five minute clip shows what the founding fathers of our country had to do in order to get the Declaration of Independece approved.
